Welcome to Steppers! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Steppers mobile application ("App") operated by Steppers ("we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using Steppers, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Steppers. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the App.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

3. Use of the App

Steppers grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to manipulate step counts or leaderboard rankings
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Upload inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
Use automated systems or bots to interact with the App

4. Health Data

Steppers accesses your step count data through Apple HealthKit. This data is used solely to provide App functionality, including tracking your progress and enabling competition with friends. We do not sell your health data to third parties.

5. User Content

You may post content such as photos and comments ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute it within the App. You are responsible for ensuring your User Content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

6. In-App Purchases

Steppers may offer premium features through in-app purchases. All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms. Purchases are non-refundable except as required by law.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure. Steppers is not a medical device and should not be used for medical purposes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
